Imigrantes Road (SP-160) is a highway in São Paulo state, it had inaugurated the north carriageway in 1976 and south carriageway in 2002. The north carriageway has 11 tunnels. South carriageway has four, which two of those are the most extended Brazilian road tunnels, the first one 3,15km of extension and the other with 3,00km. The road connects São Paulo to Praia Grande (meaning Long Beach), in south São Paulo coast, has an intense vehicle traffic, mainly during summer and holidays.
