11 Line – Metro/CPTM

Line 11 — CPTM Coral, inaugurated in 1890, makes part of the metropolitan network defined between Luz and Estudantes stations, has in its total 16 stations. It is known as Expresso Leste in Luz to Guaianases stretch. Currently, is the most saturated line in metropolitan region of São Paulo, is also the second longest of CPTM, with 50,5 km in its total length. Until March 2008 was known as Line E — Orange. Currently, East Express completes 24 travels per day on weekdays and 20 travels per day on weekends until Estudantes Station, in Mogi das Cruzes.

CJC members developed the detailed project and Author’s supervision in NATM tunnels in this railway (by F. Ferraz).

Tunnel of level 40 highway

This route is located in Funchal city, crosses the central zone to the spot elevation approximately in 40m. In order to keep a continuous transit flow, there are no traffic lights, the several intersections are uneven and a roundabout in Largo da Cruz Vermelha connects to the others routes of Funchal.

CJC worked in the alternative projects and author’s supervision in the work sites.

Level 200 tunnel

VR1 (Fast Road 1 in English) is the only motorway in Madeira Island. Its construction has started in 1989 and completed in 2005. With 44 km it goes from Ribeira Brava to Porto do Caniçal, providing a fast connection between Funchal and the Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport. Inside Funchal city, this motorway is also known as Cota 200.

Ribeira Brava, Caniçal, Queimada, Santa Cruz and Marmeleiros tunnels CJC worked in alternative projects and in the assistance of tunnels entrance in NATM and in the detailed project of Câmara de Lobos tunnel.
